Co-organized by the IPU's Twelve Plus Geopolitical Group, the Sejm and Senate of Poland, and the IPU, this regional seminar is entitled “Human Rights in the Digital Era. AI and Social Media: “Opportunity or Threat for Youth?”. 

The first day, 8 June will focus on protecting children online, including social media use, cyberspace safety, and relevant constitutional safeguards, reflecting initiatives in Australia, France, and other countries. The second day, 9 June will examine AI and human rights, covering algorithmic accountability, surveillance, electoral interference, and implications for parliamentary oversight. The third day, 10 June will include a full-day cultural visit to the State Museum at Majdanek concentration camp.
