Partnering for progress: Parliamentarians and civil society advancing health for all women, children and adolescents

Summary

13:00 – 14:30 CEST

Gains on women’s, children’s and adolescents’ health remain uneven, and progress often fails to reach those living in vulnerable and marginalized situations. The concepts of vulnerability and marginalization are not fixed and often reflect deep-rooted structural injustices and systemic exclusion. Civil society organizations can provide parliamentarians with vital data, contextual knowledge and community-sourced evidence that bring visibility to the daily realities of women, children and adolescents. The webinar will provide a platform where parliamentarians and civil society organizations can exchange on mechanisms and practices to gather data and insights on the needs of women, children and adolescents in vulnerable and marginalized situations.

The webinar is open to parliamentarians, parliamentary staff and PMNCH civil society members from around the world. The diaogue will take place in English with simultaneous interpretation provided in French, Spanish and Arabic.
