The IPU is monitoring closely the unfolding developments concerning the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus and is in daily contact with the local authorities and officials from the World Health Organisation.
The health and safety of our Members, delegations to our meetings and our staff are a top priority for us.
We are currently consulting with our Members and governing bodies to decide whether to hold the 142nd IPU Assembly scheduled from 16-20 April in Geneva, Switzerland.
Regarding other IPU events coming up, we are monitoring the situation on a case by case basis.
We will communicate any new information as soon as it becomes available.
