Chinese MP Chen Guomin discusses the engagement of the National People’s Congress in implementing the 2030 Agenda and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including the Parliament's interregional programme with the IPU.

The interview took place at the 141st IPU Assembly in Belgrade in October 2019.

African and Asian MPs meet in Beijing to forge partnership on SDGs implementation

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) provide parliaments with a plan of action towards coherent and inclusive development. To foster interregional exchanges between African and Asian parliaments, the IPU and China’s National People’s Congress organized a seminar in Beijing from 5 to 7 September.
